Lauren Hale is a designer and inventor with artistic wings. She has studied Japanese culture, language and art and during 2009 won the design and technology prize at her School. She has hosted many peer artists from Japan visiting Australia and enjoys playing piano in quieter moments. She lives on the east most coast of Australia and enjoys the funky beach lifestyle as well taking regular visits to the nearby tropical rainforests.
Lauren, at age 12 was commissioned by Byron Bay’s leading art cafe, Twisted Sista to design and paint a selection of coffee mugs for sale which proved to be fast sellers. At 13, Lauren has an invention that is awaiting patenting, development and 21st century commercialisation.
